Since 2 months, it was a long time that I have not updated my blog. I am proud to say that was because I involved in a mega project, Formula 1 2008 which was a 1st night race in the world. I was in charge at one of the blocks near to third turning point of the race track. We call the building as Turn 3 Suites. There were 16 rooms, 4 toilets, a lift and one whole large area of viewing gallery at top level. The whole price of gallery was fully laid by all grass carpet. On the date of racing days, can’t imagine that could get a wonderful view on the level and heard the exciting sound when the race cars pass by. It was a wasted that I never bought my camera there.

Over all size of the building was 56m in length, 17m in width and 15m in high, it is not small. Such a big structure building, I could say that I am fortune to get involve. It was a good change to gain experience here. From planning stage to build-up, from drafting to steel structure making, form order to delivery, all I have gone through and done. Although, I had gone thought, there was some other of my colleagues helping as well. I hope that I can handle beside what I had handled.

My department took care of all the seats and all the suites. They all were located at difference turning point of racing track. There was 2 more Suites plant in 1st and 2nd turning point. All the seating planted at turn 1, 2, 3, 8, 15, 16, 21 and 23. That is why; we need manpower and staffs in charge of the difference area. Beside seats and suites there were other things like tantages, booths, gates, container and other else. Those were in charged by other department.

End of the day, all the things that we provided have to dismantle. We had prepared a year project end up only for 3 days usage. I feel like throwing the money into deep of the ocean. But I understand why government wants to organic this F1. 1st point was can attract traveler from other country and 2nd point was created job for citizen.
